Original Boston Bruins Insert Card and Envelope

Domino / Edgeworth by Larus & Brothers Co. 

This company offered a mail in acquisition for one of 16 Boston Bruin players and/or a Boston Bruins team photo. Very seldom seen is the Promo Card that was inserted into the envelope for mailing the photos. This particular card has a couple corner dings but no writing or other blemishes.  It is an important component in the 1938-39 Larus and Bros. collection. The two sided promo card has an advertisement for Domino Cigarettes on one side with a list of the Bruin players available in the mail order. On the other side is an advertisement for Edgeworth Tobacco. The envelope is in good condition with a split in the lengthwise seam and a tear in one of the flaps. It is all intact, however and remains an essential piece to the 1938-39 Larus and Bros. collection.
