This jersey was acquired directly from Mr. Len Haley by Global Vintage. He personally identified it as the jersey he wore in the 1967-68 regular season in which he led the team in scoring with 34 goals in the regular season and 6 goals in the playoffs capping off the season with the Jack Adams Trophy as CPHL Champions. The team would switch to a V-neck style jersey for the start of the 1967-68 CPHL playoffs. As the jersey presents with an enormous amount of wear there is the likelihood that it was initially worn in the prior 1966/67 season by # 16 Doug Dunville.
This is the first 1967-68 all original CPHL Tulsa Oilers jersey I have had the pleasure to handle. And I have yet to see another one having been available anywhere. A comprehensive 4 page Letter of Authenticity by Global Vintage Sports Memorabilia Inc. will accompany this jersey.
