1923-24 WCHL and PCHA Pocket Schedules | Original
These very scarce pocket schedules were an early showcase of the Inter-League play between the Western Canada Hockey League and the Pacific Coast Hockey League for the 1923-24 season. The interesting feature for each of the programs is that each sponsoring League, added the games in the schedule that their teams would be playing against the other league. ie. The PCHA schedule would not only show the games to which their teams would play each other but also the games (both home and road) that they would play against the WCHL teams. They did not include the games to which the WCHA teams would play each other. And vice versa. The WCHL schedule showed all the games in which their teams would play each other and the games they would play agains the PCHA.
Each has remained in excellent condition, especially the PCHA schedule. The WCHL schedule included advertising on both the front and back while the PCHA did so only on the back.
