This complete set of 9 Weekend Magazines from the Sunday editions of the Edmonton Journal was issued from August 15th to October 10th, 1959. Famous sports artist, Tex Coulter, did the renderings for these issues. One star player for each of the 9 teams in the Canadian Football League. The images are fantastic and are as vibrant as they were when they were first opened in 1959. They have been stored away from light and kept sealed in a plastic cover with cardboard backing. They will be shipped in these same custom holders. There are other great articles in the magazines including exposes on the 1959 Royal Visit, The World Series and Maurice "Rocket" Richard.
